Introducing…something NEW! (drum roll) “Great Barrier Reef – Monthly Mandala”
Join me this year as we are creating a 1m Mandala design depicting all the fish, turtles, shells, coral and all the colours and underwater beauty of the Great Barrier Reef of Australia. A tropical wonderland of colour fish and flowing shapes that will eventually create a a circular mandala design on a 1m square wall hanging.
On the first of each of 9 months, I will release the next segment to trace and add to our Mandala whole cloth and it will gradually grow until it is complete. The final month we will be quilting after all the painting is complete.
In the group, I will post colour suggestions and progress photos and each month there will be opportunity to chat LIVE with me and each other and we can discus colours, tricks and tips for each piece of the puzzle as we progress together.
You may chose to use my favourite technique of painting Lumiere on black fabric or Inktense pencils on white fabric or even applique, all on to a 1m square whole cloth base fabric. As a teaser, I have painted the first months portion, the central circle shape, depicting the Blue Ring Octopus and a ring of little fish.
For those who have experienced my previous BOMs, take note of the slightly different format which shall include LIVE chats and progress photos but not the full monthly instructional video content as previously. A full instructional quilting video in the final month will be included. This is reflected in the much reduced price.
