Strong women. Independent women. Resilient women.
Next in this series is Tina Turner. Tina was know all over the world for her music and huge personality including her early career, as a duet with her husband Ike Turner. Over the years Tina spoke out about the their tumultuous relationship. By sharing her experience of domestic violence, the legendary singer gave a voice to other victims wanting to speak out: “If it could happen to me, it could happen to any of us”. Tina Turner’s advocacy extended far beyond her personal story. She became an ardent supporter of domestic violence groups, dedicating her voice and platform to raising awareness and empowering survivors worldwide.
This design is a stylised portrait with strong geometric elements with a nod to the artwork of Modigliani and Leger, maybe even Picasso but with the emphasis on pride and celebration of “Women Who Made History”.
