Back in 2005, this was my first large scale raw-edge applique quilt depicting the iconic tale, the poem, the legend, the alternative Aussie anthem, Waltzing Matilda.
This quilt was my first Best Of Show experience and certainly a huge milestone in my early quilting career.
Now the design is available for you to create your own legendary quilt.
“Waltzing Matilda” Edesign is ready to print out and the pages joined together with sticky tape will create a design 40 x 80cm (16 x 32″) ready to trace. There is also a single full PDF file so you can reduce or enlarge as desired. You can paint with Lumiere on black or with Caran D’Ache or Inktense or Sun Dyes or Appliqué or just free-motion quilt the design. I can’t wait to see your version of my design.
